  1. Thanks for sharing, Dennis. I appreciate the stats. Analytics like these aren’t inconsequential. I’m amazed that you were able to introduce so many new songs in 2009, but I think that’s aided by the fact that many are on the radio, giving your people more prep opportunity. The songs I tend to introduce are, 9 out of 10, not on the radio, so I’m always dragging people along and feeling like I’m moving too fast. The radio has its benefits!

    Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback on the setlists. We do quite a few pre-2K songs and I noticed some classics in your sets too!

I loved the stats you posted. It really allows you to review and analyze the songs you are using. I guess I need to post a report from my database in a similar format.

We aren’t quite as ambitious as you are in introducing new songs, but we are doing three from your new song list: “How Great is Our God”, “Take My Life and Let It Be” though we are still using the traditional version (I did check out the version you are using), and “Revelation Song”. We just introduced “Revelation Song” in December. I had been considering it for over a year because of the outstanding lyrics, but the clean and easy-to-follow Phillips, Craig, and Dean arrangement caused me to take another look. After I took the song out of the rafters, it was good to go!

Thanks for sharing all the info.

    Doug
