Observations by a dependent workman. What does that mean?

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

– 2 Timothy 2:15

Workman – We traditionally associate the word “workman” with someone’s job. To me, this verse really goes beyond that narrow definition and represents everything in life.

Dependent – I would be pretty arrogant if I said that I could even come close to being “approved” by GOD on my own.

This blog is basically just my experiences in every day life…through the eyes of someone who is striving to be a “workman” who relies on and is approved by the Lord.
