Training Journal – 4/11/I12:

• Current plan: 10-Miler Training
• Today’s session: 6 mile Run @ with hill repeats in the middle
• Comments: Another run timed right to avoid the rain!  I did 7.05 @ 9:07 with 2.25 miles of hill repeats (increasing then decreasing slope and distance) sandwiched in the middle.  I wore my Road Runner rain jacket today (thinking it might rain) – I honestly think I need to find an alternative.

• Today’s session: Rest
  
• Comments: Slept in.  Ate pancakes.  Will eat Spaghetti later.  Oh, yeah, they released the results from the Against the Wind Virtual 5K I ran last Saturday.  I placed 39/229 overall and 25/101 men.
  

Having already listened to this final gift from The David Crowder Band no less than seven times (i was on a plane for about 6+ hours yesterday), I declare it:

• Today’s session: 5 mile run
  
• Comments: Was supposed to be a rest day, but to get in my training mileage, I used today as a pick-up day.
  

Behold the Lamb of God: The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ is hands-down, my favorite Christmas album.  Period.

Mainly because of its “whole story” aspect of the telling of the Christmas story.  I wrote a post about the album back in 2009, which has been my “most clicked” post for the last 90 days.  I actually arranged the album for our church choir and wrote an accompanying drama back in 2009 as well, but had to cancel the program for various reasons…maybe someday.
