Every time I fly, I think of this video a friend shared on Facebook. BTW, I sat in the exit row and the seats in from of me didn’t recline…the people in from of me sounded just like him at 3:44!
I don’t take flying for granted. Never have. My nine hour trip in the same plane from Ft Lauderdale, to Austin, to LA, then San Jose was long – but not as long as the 30+ hour trip the lady sitting next to me had ahead of her – she was from Australia (she started in Ft. Lauderdale also).
Two observations from my trip home:
- Flight attendants are to be admired for their patience. Anyone who deals with someone questioning their legitimacy at their job with a smile and a polite (but terse) word is OK in my book.
- Never fly if you are congested…it is painful.
Glad to be home to Karen – no travel for a month!
