Final day of travel – Woohoo! I snuck in a second run tour early this morning, picking up a few locations I missed last night.
It was foggy, so pictures were limited. [Strava]

I got to my new hotel in enough time to squeeze in a great, evening run. It was a comfortable 52 with no wind and probably cooled to the high 40s when I finished.
I was glad I opted to sleep in and not run this morning when it was raining, this was a lot more enjoyable.[Strava]
I may not remember everything from college, but one thing that always comes to mind when I fly are “oxbow lakes” – from a geology course I took.
Funny the things we remember…
Oh, and I also spotted this hidden Mickey too (ok, maybe it’s just the hat):
Upon reflecting on my day and, from the “My how things have changed” file, I present today’s “office”:
Oh, the connected and small world we live and work in…
Today was a catch up day after two days of meetings. Your think I had a couple if big projects going or something!
Glad to be home!

I’m in Virginia for a biz trip and a few of us went to a Nationals game tonight after work. It was a nice break, though a bit cool for this Californian. It was one dollar hot dog night, so I downed two…and two soft pretzels too – yum!

I’m on a short trip to Chicago and braved the 0430, “29 degrees (feels like 19) with 13 mph winds” weather for my pre-meeting, long run today. I planned my gear pretty well and was actually pretty comfortable. From the few fellow runners I saw at that early hour, I didn’t look out of place (read: “He must be from California!”)…though I did see one guy running in shorts AND short sleeves!
