I was behind this really, really nice truck today in the drive-thru and snapped this picture.
The back window got me thinking that being excessive can be good. Good when in response to our amazing God who loves us with an excessive love.
Made me think of Romans 11:35-12:1…
11:35“Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?”
11:36For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
12:1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

Thank You, thank You, thank You for Your excessive, crazy, and insane love. There is absolutely nothing that compares with being that extreme in giving and sacrifice. You gave all and I gained life at your expense. May your sacrificial gift result in an excessive lifestyle for You.
