I’m on a quick biz trip to Oklahoma City, so, as is typical for most of my travels, I went for an early morning run in the environs.
I Facebook messaged a local Running Club about routes a while back and decided upon running from the hotel to Lake Hefner, then did the Bert Cooper Trail, which loops the Lake, and then back to the hotel.
My plan called for 12 miles, but I ended up extending to 13.2. I was ahead of schedule, so I though why not! It was a great run with excellent weather this morning. It was dark, given my 0500 start, so no pictures. Also, miles 5 through 8 were on the rim road of the dam, so that was pretty cool. I bet during the day, you can see for a distance.
I’m starting my taper for Foxy’s tomorrow, so I am scaling back workouts for the rest of the week…
