I’ve been reading through the Pauline Letters and was in 1 Timothy this morning. Sometimes I like checking passages out in other versions – Da Jesus Book (the Hawai’i Pidgin Bible) is often a favorite:

Ha! I served as a short term missionary to Molokai, Hawaii for a summer college ministry. I remember coming across the “Pidgin Book” Bible in some second hand store and getting a good chuckle out of it…I wish I had bought it now!
Thanks for the comment! I got a “hard copy” at a Christian Bookstore in the International Marketplace in Honolulu. I use it sometimes, but the YouVersion app has Da Jesus Book as one of their downloadable versions now. Blessings!
