Training Journal – 6/29/12:
My wife and I enjoyed an extended get-a-way at the Disneyland Resort last weekend. The Grand Californian was very nice and Disney did a great job on their new Cars Land – we only waited 135 (daytime) then 120 minutes (nighttime) for the Radiator Springs Racers (the main attraction.) That wasn’t too bad for a new ride – I read that on opening day, the wait was 300+ minutes at times…! [Fast Passes were gone by 0900!]
Anyway, the weather was perfect and I did come home with a requisite Mickey Mouse t-shirt as well as two bags of my favorite Dark Chocolate Covered Mickey Mouse Pretzels!
Oh, I did discover one other “souvenir” – a product of our impromptu Disney character breakfast yesterday. While running this morning, I couldn’t get this song out of my head:
There was a farmer who had a dog
And Bingo was his name-o
B-I-N-G-O
…
[insert laughter, knowing that everyone reading this is now, at this very moment, humming this tune in their head… Mwahahahaahhaha!]

“Stepping outside the comfort zone is the price I pay to find out how good I can be. If I planned on backing off every time running got difficult I would hang up my shoes and take up knitting.”
Word
*No offense to the wonderfully-skilled knitters of the world…

This evening, I used this to read some fine print.
I was trying to enhance rather than magnify…yeah, that’s the ticket!
