This song came on the ol’ random play today…I’ve always liked the video.
I can now say that I’ve tasted Krystal – on Bourbon Street, no less. (Apologies to Chefs Prudhomme, Flay, Lagasse, Palladin, Brill, etc.)

…and yes, I did partake of the standard NOLA/Creole cuisine: Crawfish étouffée, Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, Shrimp Creole, Gumbo, Beignets, Bread pudding, etc.!

While I totally agree with and support the message on this sign, the placement does seem odd…

I went to the window to look outside and saw this dude peeping in. Move along, nothing to see here…

Tonight’s dinner: The Ferdi Special at Mother’s Restaurant in NOLA.

THE CONTENTS: Mother’s best baked ham, roast beef, debris*, and gravy (plus slaw, mustard, pickles, & change.)
I went with the 2/3 version – no fries, just the Ferdi – and ate most of it.
Oh my, indeed.
