Old Me

Yesterday, my wife asked me to find a couple of pictures she took back in April of 2008 for something.

As I was scanning the computer for them, I stumbled across a few “Old Me” photos from a trip we took to Disneyland at that time.

Nothing like an “Old Me” pic to make the “New Me” feel good.

  • Comments: Rest day instead, as we spent the evening/early AM at the ER with my Mom-In-Law…and riding on less than two hours sleep probably wouldn’t have been smart. She’s home, OK, and I’ll ride tomorrow.

Zoomies

Seriously, I seem to recall getting something like this out of a cereal box when I was a kid!

If the “protective carrying case” were made of “Corinthian leather” or if the temples had Ginsu knives hidden in them, I might be tempted to make late-night, insomnia-induced purchase.

OK, maybe that was a decoder ring I got in the cereal box…

Zoomies, throw in a “unique, spiral slicer” and I’m all over this!

  • Comments: I did 5.4 miles @ 8:12 avg pace.  I ran in my Kinvara 3s for the first time in almost two months.  I’ve gotten used to my Hokas…  I’m torn now.
